His daughter, Crystal, joined the firm in Fall 2004, establishing the only father-daughter law firm in the county. Both attorneys draft wills, living wills, business contracts, and lease agreements. Joseph Ferrier was born and raised in Savannah, Georgia. He attended Brunswick Junior College while playing baseball for the college. There, he met his wife and together they attended Georgia Southern University where Joseph received a B.A. in Psychology in 1972. They then moved back to Brunswick and Joseph commuted to classes at John Marshall Law School in Savannah where he graduated in 1975. He received his Juris Doctorate in 1976, was admitted to the Georgia Bar, and immediately began practicing law in downtown Brunswick at the young age of 24.
